The history and guide book was written by the late Sam & Helen Stewart of Magnetawan. Compiled from interviews and antidotes from the descendants of the pioneers who settled the Nipissing road. The book contains historic maps, over 25 photos historic buildings and locations and stories. It is a "must have" if you plan a trip along the road or you are interested in the early history of this beautiful area. Sadly many of the buildings are being reclaimed by the forests. This book is an attempt to preserve the memories of our first residents.
